Debut - The Night Itself

No more need to cut self into half.  I attended the earlier half of Jacky's party and the later half of Makat's.  Meal at Jacky's and dessert at Makat's.  Ha.

0 18th birthday parties missed so far.

ME: 18 shots ako sa party.
MOM: 18?!  Meron palang ganun?
ME: Oo 'no! (akala ayaw pa-shotin)
MOM: (akala 18 shots ang iinumin ko)

'Sa pang shot!

True

Believing, I believe, is accepting something as true.  If you know and think that half of what you believe in are lies, then you probably don't really believe in half of what you say you believe in.  Or you also believe that you are lying.

Debut - Decision Making

Good News: It's Makat's birthday party on the 13th of March.
It's Jacky's birthday party on the 13th of March.
Bad News:  It's Makat's birthday party on the 13th of March.
It's Jacky's birthday party on the 13th of March.

All of those who are turning 18 this year, you undoubtedly know what I am talking about.  This year is party year!  Everyone's turning eighteen.  Because most of my friends are human and female, and because that's how it works where I live, birthday party invitations emerge from every direction.  I once swore I'm going to attend every single one of them...  until this predicament came:  2 parties, one friggin' night.
Now weighing pros and cons... cancelled.
Searching for peace of mind... error #00425.
Deciding... done.
Loading decision...
DECISION:  Divide self into two and show up in both.

Mood Swings

I don't understand your frame of mind at this instance of time.  Your mood is swinging as much as the weather changes nowadays.  WHAT'S UP?!  Is it because of the luscious professor you ate for dinner?  It seems that you are psychiatrically disordered.  I'm sorry for being histrionical but...  YOUR INSANITY IS FORCING ITSELF INTO MY VEINS!  I mean, hey, your disease is contagious, transmittable, spreadable, infectious, communicable!  It's making me laugh.  It's making me irritated.  It's making me mad!  Now, I've got new friends:

BoobooChacha - The man who thinks he's a monkey. His motto is: "Don't push the river, let it flow."
<no name> - The catatonic who never tells what he feels inside.
Papa - The girl who thinks she's a frog.  She wants a love that she can see.  Her way of speaking depends on her mood.  For example, when she's feeling cono, she says, "Ribbit ribbit".  When she's feeling jolog, she says, "Kokak kokak".  When she's feeling japanese, she says "Kero kero".
Ching Ching - The girl who thinks she's a dog because her ex-boyfriend called her a bitch.  She becomes a werewolf at night.
Robert a.k.a. Lulu (as in Luka Luka) - Secret friend.

I need medication.  We need medication.

Say goodbye

You know that every beginning has an end.  The closing stages are coming.  I'm not counting the days because counting will make time short.  In a couple of weeks I will be somewhere in the middle of being a highschool geek and a college pupil.  In a couple of months, I will be waking up on the same bed but not to walk on the same corridors and fields I have been walking on for eleven long years.  I wouldn't be smelling the fetid whiff of the rotten fruits that fall on the ground anymore.  I wouldn't have to listen to the educational dung they have been shoving in my brain for years.  Oh, they do not have anything to worry about because all of those manure to me, are more than useless.  In fact, the knowledge that I have acquired is stored in brain cells that refuse to die.  It's not that I want them to, It's just that...  It's not normal for a memory stick like mine to store that large a bulk.  Surely, my second abode will not remember me as I will remember it.  But it's not going to make any difference anyway.  I'll still be missing it.  I'll still be fantasizing about creating chaos in multi-windowed classrooms again.  I'll still be going.  I still have to leave.  Oh well.  One day, I just have to say goodbye.

Float

Maybe you do have a reason to worry
But leave everything behind, just for now
It's okay to hum a tune, it's okay to sing
Lie down and relax for a while
Don't you ever get weary of working?
Feel the zephyr's breath on your face
This life is worth living
Let your mind flow with the current
Look up, the moon is watching you
Let the stars twinkle in your eyes
Let this fantasy be your reality
Float,  I am not with you right now
Don't go with me
For you'll just drown with me
I'll be far away, far away from you

Bestest Teachers of All Time (Since grade 7)

***Note: Random order***

1. Ms. Ettie Miranda
Is it because I never really liked (no, i didn't hate them) my past music teachers?  Inspire more.
2. Ms. Karen Manahan
Let's just say Hamlet is the first Shakespeare novel I've ever read.  Never got this interested.
3. Ms. Gaye Samson
No, A.P. isn't my favorite subject.  I hated it since Grade 4... until a teacher came along.
4. Ms. Grace Roa
I miss mathematics with you.
5. Ms. Nancy Fernandez
Annoyingly, you don't find me as annoying as many does.
6. Ms. Ana Hilario
Take me where I belong.  You know something the majority doesn't.
7. Ms. Olalde
Lovable indeed.  Those who have left probably never left you.
8. Ms. Michelle Basilia
A hug for a teacher.  A little confidence for me.
9. Ms. Karen Arcilla
You believed.
10. Ms. Ofelia Rotairo
You still remember my name?
11. Ms. Simone Moran
<la la la la la...>
12. Ms. Tina Isaac

Sticky

I left the window beside my bed open.  What a sight.
An unfinished house with some weeds in front.
And the weather's not fine but it's not that bad.
Its mood changes as often as people upgrade phones.
So this is how the hair feels
when a woman blowdries it after a shower.
It's worse than that.
At least the hair looks better after.
A blowdried human being stinks and STICKS.
Summer in the city is just as bad as the city in the summer.

Summer...

Noise noise!  Any kind will do.
Hot hot!  Under the sun.
Swim swim!  Under the sea.
Free free!  No school work to do.

School work...

Okay, you got me.  I'm up.
Get me out of here!

The resurrection I have long been waiting for has come... Now, I have risen.

A whole new world
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no
Or where to go
Or say we're only dreaming

Unbelievable sights
Indescribable feeling
Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling
Through an endless diamond sky

A whole new world
Don't you dare close your eyes
A hundred thousand things to see
Hold your breath - it gets better
I'm like a shooting star
I've come so far
I can't go back to where I used to be

There's a peephole if you want to snoop
Read all of my written poop
Forgive me 'cause I want to rhyme
Forgive me if I waste your time

Open the fridge and feel the heat
Sing a song and dance to the beat
If you find no sense in what you read
Just close the fridge to preserve the meat
